What is the Penning Affiliate Program?

The Penning Affiliate Program is a partnership opportunity where you can earn up to 30% commission by referring new users to the Penning platform. Affiliates are provided with a unique referral link and a range of marketing materials to help them promote Penning.

Who is eligible to join?

Anyone who is passionate about the crypto and digital asset space and has an audience that could benefit from Penning's services is encouraged to apply. This includes bloggers, YouTubers, social media influencers, and website owners.

Is there a fee to join?

No, there is no fee to join the Penning Affiliate Program. It is free to sign up and start earning.

How do I earn commissions?

You earn a revenue share when users who sign up through your link use Penning’s services. You can earn from their trading activity, investments, and use of our custody solutions.

Is the commission recurring?

Yes, our program is built for long-term earnings. You can earn recurring commissions from services like Portfolio Management and Crypto Storage, and continuous commissions from a user's ongoing trading activity. However the broker desk is not recurring revenue. However you can contact us directly if you have a client for recurring transactions.

What can I earn from?

You earn from three main revenue streams:
• Broker Services: Fees from your referrals’ trading activity.
• Portfolio Management: Fees from users who invest in our managed products.
• Crypto Storage: Fees from users who use our secure custody solutions.

What if someone clicks my link on their phone but signs up on their computer?

Our tracking is designed to handle cross-device conversions. As long as the user signs up with the same email or account they used to initially engage, our system will attribute the referral to you.

Is there a cap on my monthly earnings?

No, there is no cap on your potential earnings. The more active users you refer, the more you can earn. We want to reward our top performers, not limit them.

Do I still earn commission if my referral uses a discount or special offer?

Yes. Your commission is calculated based on the final revenue generated, so even if a user gets a discount, you will still earn a commission on the post-discount fee.

Can I use paid ads (Google, Facebook) to promote my link?

Yes, you can use paidadvertising. However, we have a strict policy against bidding on our branded keywords (e.g.,"Penning," "Penning crypto"). This is to avoid competing with our own marketing efforts. Allother forms of paid advertising are welcome.

Do I have to disclose that I'm an affiliate?

Yes, absolutely. You are legally required todisclose your affiliate relationship in a clear and conspicuous way. This builds trust with youraudience and complies with advertising regulations.

Can I create my own banners and creative, or do I have to use yours?

We encouragecreativity! While we provide a full suite of marketing materials, you are welcome to createyour own unique content and visuals. However, please adhere to our brand guidelines, whichare available in your dashboard.

Are there any countries or regions I'm not allowed to target?

Yes. Due to international regulations, you may not promote Penning in countries that are on international sanctions lists or where crypto services are prohibited. A full list of restricted regions is available in our program's terms of service.

How do I track my performance?

Your affiliate dashboard provides real-time tracking of clicks, sign-ups, conversions, and earnings.

When do I get paid?

We process payments monthly. After a quick validation of your referrals, we send your payment promptly.

Is there a minimum payout amount?

Yes, like most programs, there is likely a minimum balance required for payout. You can find the specific details in your affiliate dashboard.

How long does the tracking cookie last?

Our cookie duration is 60 days. If a user clicks your link and signs up anytime within 60 days, you get credit for the referral, even if they don't convert on the first visit.

What happens to my recurring commissions if the affiliate program's terms change?

We will always provide at least 30 days' notice for any significant changes to the program terms. Commissions you have already earned will not be affected. Our goal is to build long-termpartnerships, and we are committed to being transparent about any changes.

What's the process if my application is rejected?

If your application is not approved, it is likely because your platform or content does not align with our brand or target audience. We encourage you to grow your audience, refine your content, and you are welcome to re-apply in the future.

Can I change my payment details later?

Yes, you can easily update your payment information at any time through your affiliate dashboard.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my affiliate account?

We have a dedicated affiliate support team ready to help. You can reach out to them directly through the support section of your affiliate dashboard for any questions or issues.

What is the typical conversion rate from click to sign-up?

While conversion rates can vary based on your audience and content quality, our platform is optimized for a smooth and efficient onboarding process. We see strong conversion rates, and you can track your specific performance in your affiliate dashboard.

What happens if a user I refer disputes a transaction or requests a refund?

In the rareevent of a chargeback or refund, the commission associated with that specific transaction willbe reversed. This is a standard practice known as a "clawback" and applies only to thedisputed amount.

How do you support the users I refer? Do you have good customer service?

We pride ourselves on excellent customer support. Your referrals will have access to our dedicated support team to help them with any questions or issues. A positive user experience is key to retention, which in turn helps you earn more recurring commissions.

Can I see the activity of my referred users in the dashboard?

For privacy reasons, you cannot see the specific personal details or transaction history of your referred users. However, your dashboard will show you aggregated, anonymized data, such as how many of your referrals are using specific products and the total commission generated from each.

Is Penning a regulated platform?

Yes. Penning is incorporated in Denmark and registered with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA). We are also fully compliant with the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, ensuring a secure and trustworthy platform.

Are my earnings taxable?

If you are based in the EU, VAT rules for digital services may apply. The standard VAT rate in Denmark is 25%. We recommend consulting a tax advisor to understand your obligations.

I don’t live in Denmark. How are my taxes handled?

International affiliates are subject to the tax laws of their country of residence. Tax treaties between your country and Denmark may apply to prevent double taxation. Please consult a local tax expert for advice.

What kind of support will I receive?

You will have access to a wide range of marketing materials, including banners, links, and copy, all within your affiliate dashboard. The dashboard also provides all the tracking and reporting you need to manage your campaigns.
